Blendtec Blenders Have Unrivaled Power and Durability
In 1975, Tom Dickenson founded K-Tec Incorporated, the parent company of Blendtec. Tom’s first product was a home use miller for grinding wheat. It combined a vacuum cleaner motor and a milling chamber. Although the market was limited, Blendtec was successful enough with its wheat miller to move into other household appliances.
Blendtec first started making blenders for the commercial market. These were used in bars, smoothie shops and restaurants. In the commercial line of Blendtec blenders you can find many innovative features, such as blender motors built into the countertop and programmable blenders.
Blendtec had such success in the commercial blender market that they decided to start making blenders for home use. Blendtec created its Fine Living series of products specifically for the home. They are pleasing to look at and use the same technology as the commercial blenders. Their home blenders have become one of their most popular products. You’ll find this blender showcased in many on-line videos where the company’s founder will blend a wide assortment of different items to show how powerful and sturdy his blender is. The engine on this blender has 1,560 watts of power. With the touch of a button you can access up to six programmable settings. Blendtec’s unique Smart Touch technology is also added in. The Blendtec Mix n’ Blend
Another popular product from Blendtec, the Mix n’ Blend, is a mixer and blender combination. It has bread kneading button and a super strong 1,000 watt motor to blend and mix. You won’t need your breadmaker with this machine from Blendtec. You also get 5 automatic mixing cycles from the touchpad in addition to 8 different blender cycles. This is certainly a real time saver. You also get a four quart mixing bowl and a 64 ounce blender jar with the Mix n’ Blend.
Blendtec is certainly one of the best blender manufacturers in the world. They may be a little expensive, the Blendtec Total blender runs about $400, but you really get what you pay for here. The Blendtec is an investment. It will blend almost anything you can throw at it and it should last you for years.
